Growing up is a fast and complex process bringing many changes and joyful moments to the young person’s life and the life of their family. At the same time, those changes can be challenging and result in a whole range of emotions for both kids and their parents. If you see your child struggling or you feel stuck as a parent and don’t know what to do – meeting a therapist can be a great way to start addressing those challenges. Learning more about your child’s mental health can help you to better understand what their needs are and how to support them best. We can also assist both you or your child in processing difficult emotions and thoughts. Therapy can become a place where your child learns more about coping skills and ways to overcome issues linked with growing up, school, friendships or family.

Some difficulties that children and teens counselling can help with:
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Anger issues
  • Relationships with peers and family
  • Stress
  • Body issues
  • Food and eating difficulties
  • Self-harm
  • Sexual identity and sexual orientation questions
  • Alcohol and drugs use
  • Parenting skills
We invite parents to actively participate in their child’s therapy process. That is why the first session always happens with parent(s) themselves. This helps us to get to know your family better and establish goals for your child’s therapy process. It is also a great opportunity for you to ask us any questions you might have about it. Going forward we negotiate the level of your involvement in therapy depending on the age of your child, goals you have and your child’s needs.
We do not provide assessments or reports.
We offer children and teens therapy in person as well as online.
Each children and teens session lasts 50 minutes and the cost is €70.
