HOW I WORK
I am not what has happened to me. I am what I choose to become. Carl G. Jung
I use an evidence-based, integrative approach in my work with clients, combining knowledge from a variety of therapeutic approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy, Systemic Therapy, Somatic Experiencing Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
The foundation of my work is an empathic and non-judgmental presence that allows you to feel safe and heard. I believe that people have the ability to work through challenges and reach their full potential when provided with the time and support they need. I pay attention to both, body and mind, when supporting you through the process of change.
I work with you to help you establish therapeutic goals and choose an approach best suited to your needs. Our work will be guided by you but also collaborative – I will share with you my experience and knowledge as well as various methods and techniques when relevant.
My therapeutic approach can help you with:
-
Finding relief from symptoms of depression or/and anxiety;
-
Recovering from traumatic events;
-
Taking on destructive habits that are affecting your life;
-
Finding ways to deal with stress and various work-related issues;
-
Develop and keep meaningful, nurturing and loving relationship with your partner;
-
Addressing parenting challenges and difficulties affecting your children
-
Developing your resources for years to come.
